Pinch (real name: Rob Ellis) is a dubstep artist from Bristol, United Kingdom noted for his fusion of styles such as Reggae, World Music, and Dancehall with dubstep. He released his first album (Underwater Dancehall) in 2007 on Tectonic records, which he founded in 2005.
Rob is highly respected in the scene as on of the pioneers of the bristol dubstep sound. Rob's label Tectonic has gone from strength to strength signing artists such as Skream, Loefah, Distance, Peverlist, Moving Ninja and 2562, which has helped aid the genre to evolve to its current state of popularity and respect, among DJs and producers from across the spectrum.
